Compensation: $58,000 - $67,000. Salary is commensurate with experience. This position is full-time with benefits including healthcare and generous time off package.

Let’s Green CA! is part of The Romero Institute, a Santa Cruz-based nonprofit law and policy center with a 50-year legacy of winning justice for the people. Founders Danny Sheehan and Sara Nelson began their work together in the late 1970s, when Sheehan prosecuted the case effectively ending construction of new nuclear power plants in the United States (Silkwood v. Kerr-McGee).The Romero Institute also houses the Lakota People’s Law Project.
Let’s Green CA! Is looking for an Online Climate Campaigns Organizer to help us accelerate our critical Electrify CA! campaign to end the use of toxic fossil fuels in Californians’ homes and cars by 2030, and win justice for the communities on the front lines of the climate crisis.
In collaboration with leaders like Dolores Huerta and the Dolores Huerta Foundation, we are building grassroots support for an equitable clean energy transition that puts frontline communities first. We aim to implement change from the ground up to create a healthy, sustainable, carbon-free California.
This position will also provide communications and social media support for Let’s Green CA!’s affiliated regional campaigns, in particular the San Luis Obispo (SLO) Climate Coalition.
The Online Climate Campaigns Organizer will work with the Let's Green CA! team to help plan, strategize and implement digital organizing strategies that empower our grassroots community, increase awareness of our efforts, and build support for the Electrify CA! policy framework. This position will be responsible for building and managing data files for targeted mobilization efforts. The Online Climate Campaigns Organizer will also work with our Communications Director and SLO Climate Coalition Chair to research, draft, edit and deploy digital content for our website and social media profiles.
